✅ I’m new to the club. When can I start fishing?

As soon as you’ve paid online (or been approved after registering a shop purchase), you’re good to go! Check your email confirmation for proof.

✅ Do I need a printed membership card to fish?

You can start fishing right away once your membership is active, either by paying online or registering a shop purchase.
While your physical membership card is required as proof on the bank, you can use your email confirmation (for online payments) or shop receipt (for in-store purchases) as temporary proof until your card arrives. We aim to post all cards within 14 days.

✅ How long does it take to get my membership card?

Membership cards are posted within 14 days of joining or renewing. If it’s been longer, please contact us: help@hyndburnblackburnangling.co.uk

✅ Can I fish before receiving my card?

Yes, as long as you’ve completed your registration and payment, you’re an active member. Your email confirmation serves as proof of membership until your card arrives.

✅ What payment methods can I use?

Online memberships can be paid securely through PayPal using a PayPal account or credit/debit card.
If you joined at a local shop, your payment is already complete, just register your details on this website.

✅ I paid in a shop — how long until I’m activated?

Shop purchases need to be manually verified by our Membership Secretary, which usually takes a few days.
Want to speed things up? You can optionally upload or email a photo of your receipt when you register your details — this helps us activate your account faster.

✅ What if I forgot my login details?

Use the Forgot Password link on the login page to reset your password.
